Retail User

Introduction

The e-Banking application for retails user helps the bank customers to perform various banking operations, without physically visiting bank branches.

The following are the three classes of users for this application:

  • Retail User: The retails user is the customer of the bank. The user performs various banking operations using the application.

  • Relationship Manager: The relationship manager receives and processes customer requests.

  • Administrator: The  administrator creates the customers and relationship managers. The administrator also administers and maintains the above users to ensure smooth functioning of the application.

Objectives

The following are the objectives of this Help system:

  • To enable the reader to understand the administration level activities to create and maintain Relationship Manager and the Retail user.

  • Printing passwords for users to enable the application usage.

  • Associating the Customer ID (at Finacle Core Level) to the User ID (at e-Banking level).

Features

The following features, critical for the efficient functioning of the Retail User Information menu, are supported by e-Banking:

  • The retail user's account functionality is based on the setup defined by the administrator.

  • The accounts that are accessed by the retail user are the accounts of the customer ID linked to the retail user by the administrator.

  • The profile and privileges of the retail user depend upon the user ID created by the administrator.

Audience

This manual is meant for the retail customers of the bank. This manual also helps the administrator to set up the module and monitor the same to ensure its efficient functioning.
