SMS Banking

Introduction

This option allows the administrator to enable or disable the SMS banking facility to the user.  SMS banking  facility is available to the user only if the administrator has given enough privileges. This banking feature is audit for security reasons. Also, the enable or disable feature for the administrator can be maker checker enabled.

The retail user can be enabled for Mobile Payee maintenance.  Under this feature,there user can carry out fund transfer through mobile payment. The administrator can disable a customer from mobile payment. The administrator can also get a list of customers enabled with the SMS services of the bank.

The administrator can obtain the customer details by specifying the mobile number of the customer. When the password of a retail user is set or reset, the password for SMS banking is also be set/reset. such  password is set  to the last 4 digits of the e-Banking password by default. The mapping between Payee Name (SMS Biller Id) and the Payee Id is maintained by the administrator.

Note:

The lien details of an account can be fetched only if there online connectivity with core banking system.

• Click SMS Maintenance in the USER MAINTENANCE menu.

Bank Id

The ID of the bank to which the user belongs.

User Id

The name of the user for whom you want to create or maintain SMS banking records.
