Property Manager Setup

Introduction

This section details the properties that are required to be set up requirements for property manager using the Property Manager option.

Components of Property Manager

The following components are defined during the Property Manager Setup:

MAX_LENGTH_OF_PASSWORD

Maximum password length allowed.

MIN_LENGTH_OF_PASSWORD

Minimum password  length required.

PASSWORD_LENGTH

Password length set by the application for users.

PASSWORD_SET_WARNING_PERIOD

User password is set by the administrator on a particular date. If the administrator tries to reset the password within the number specified days,a warning message “The password has been reset recently do you want to continue” is displayed.

PWD_EXPIRY_PERIOD

Users passwords expiring after specified period.

PWD_NUM_CHARACTERS_EXCLUDE

Number characters excluded in passwords.

PWD_SPECIAL_CHAR_MANDATORY

Special character in password of Retail/RM user  mandatory or not (Allowed values: Y or N).

PWD_SPECIAL_CHARSET

Set of special characters included.

PWDALPHAMAND

Alphabet mandatory in password for Retail/Relationship Managers (Allowed values: Y or N).

PWDDIGITMAND

Digit mandatory in password for all Retail/Relationship Managers (Allowed values: Y or N).

PWDFOURCHARMAND

Four Distinct characters mandatory in password for Retail/ Relationship Managers (Allowed values: Y or N).

RM_PWD_EXPIRY_PERIOD

RM Password expiring after specified period.

RM_TXN_PWD_EXPIRY_PERIOD

RMs Txn Password expiring after specified period.

RM_USER_EXPIRY_PERIOD

RM expiring after specified period of inactivity.

TXN_PWD_EXPIRY_PERIOD

Transaction Password expiring in specified period  for the Retail User.

USER_EXPIRY_PERIOD

User expired after this period of inactivity in days.

ACCOUNT_SUMMARY_ONLINE_FROM_FI

Parameter which indicates whether AccountSummary is to be fetched online from FI during login of user. The possible values are ‘Y’ or ‘N’

CRM_ENABLED

This flag needs to be Y when CRM is deployed.

SIGNON_TXN_PWD_SAME_FLAG

Allow same password for both Sign and Transaction. The possible values are Yes or No.

RM_WORKFLOW

Indicate whether RM approval is required or not for customer assist transactions.

RSA_DEVICE_TYPE_PIN_REQD

Y = when PIN is required to generate the RSA Token. Passcode = TOKEN

N= when PIN is not required to generate the Token. Token is generated at fixed intervals. Passcode = PIN+TOKEN

Note:

These parameters will decide the structure of the password set by the e-Banking application.

SET_PWD_ALPHA_CHARACTERS_EXCLUDE

Type the characters which have to be excluded from the password. For example, if xyzabc are entered here except xyzabc ,remaining alpha characters will get printed

SET_PWD_NUM_CHARACTERS_EXCLUDE

Type the numbers which have to be excluded from the password. For example, if 7895 are entered here except 7895,remaining numeric characters will get printed

SET_PWD_SPECIAL_CHARSET

Type the special characters which will be allowed in the password. For example, if $#^@\&% are entered here if special character mandatory is set then, these are allowed characters.

SET_PWD_CHARACTERS_CASE_TYPE

Type the value B, for printing the password in uppercase characters

SET_PWD_CHARACTERS_CASE_TYPE

Type any value other than B for printing the password in lowercase characters

SET_PWD_SPECIAL_CHAR_MANDATORY

If this value is set to ‘N’ then no special character will be used in the generated password.

If this value is set to ‘Y’ then allowed special characters will be used in the generated password.
