User Interests

Introduction

This option allows you to  view links to other websites or contents maintained by the bank, which are of interest to the user. This can be used as a tool to promote specific bank product, For example, if a user has interest in automobile, the bank can offer him a vehicle loan.

The Administrator can carry out the following tasks:

• Get a list of User interest.

• Add/delete a user interest.

• Modify the URL description of an existing user.

Note:

•  The Common codes for code type = ‘FAV’ should be created prior to defining the user interests.

•  The user interest type should be RPT and the interest code should be same as the common code.

• If the user interest link connects to an external site, he must relogin to resume Retail e-Banking. This feature supports the security  aspect of the application.

• The menu profile of the administrator must contain one or more of  USIU, USIUM and USIUV menu options.

Navigation

The following is the navigation for this option:

• Click User Interests in the USER SETUP menu.

• The Search Criteria For User Interests screen is displayed.
