Enable or Disable Retail User

Introduction

This option allows you to enable a new or disabled user to access the application. Under this, the administrator can perform the following functions:

• Find out through search or specify directly the user for a given user id.

• Enable or disable the user for Sign on or Transaction or both.

Note:

  •  A disabled user is not enabled till the password is set (or reset)reset for the user.

  •  Users are not enabled till the set password are printed.

  • A user is disabled for maximum attempts for sign on and (or) transaction password. Also, the user is disabled in the password(s) expires. This may happen in case of non-accessibility of account for specified duration of time.

  • The menu profile of the administrator must contain one or more of these menu options: RENBL, RENBLM and RENBLV. This is in order to have the privilege of Retail User.

Navigation

The following is the navigation for this option:

  • Click Retrieve in the User Maintenance screen.

  •  Click Enable / Disable Retail user under Access Management in the User Maintenance List screen.

  •  The Enable/Disable Retail User for < Bank ID > screen is displayed.

What you can do

The table below provides a brief description of the data displayed on the screen and the functions you can perform:

Field

Description

Retail User  Id

The ID of the user who is to be enabled or disabled to access the application.

First name

The first name of the retail user.

Last name

The last name of the retail user.

Remarks

This is a mandatory field.

Login Allowed

Select the relevant radio button whether the retail user is to be enabled for logging in to the application.

Valid Values:

Yes

No

Transaction Allowed

Select the relevant radio button whether the retail user is to be enabled for doing e-banking transactions.

Valid Values:

Yes

No

Mode

Select the mode for which the user is to be enabled or disabled.

Valid Values:

Login Password

Transaction Password

Secure Token

SMS Based Mobi-Token

Device based Mobi-Token

Enable

Select the radio button to enable the retail user for any of the above modes.

Disable

Select the radio button to disable the retail user for any of the above modes.

ENABLE/DISABLE HISTORY

Action Date/Time

The time stamp at which an activity was done.

Action By

The name of the administrator who enabled or disabled the retail user as the case may be.

Action taken

The action taken by the administrator. These may be Login Disbaled, Login Enabled, Secure Token Enabled and so on.

Remarks

The remarks provided by the administrator while doing the above mentioned activity.
