Channel Linkage

Introduction

The customer can specify or choose their accounts with the bank that must be enabled for internet banking channel as part of activation of internet banking facility registered through online. The activation can be done only after the status of request of online registration is in approved status. Once the passwords are set by the customer as part of online activation of internet banking login, system will take the user to this screen where it will list all the accounts of the customer and the customer will have the option to choose the accounts which should be accessible to him through internet banking. apart from this the customer can also specify his mobility preference that is through which other channels like mobile banking, browser based mobile banking, downloadable client GPRS based mobile banking through which he would like to access his bank accounts. Facility has been provided to choose multiple channels and also set the login ID for such channels.

Customer ID

Displays the customer ID of the customer.

Account type

Displays the account type.

Account Number

Displays the account number.

Status

Displays the account status. The values can be active , dormant, frozen and the like.

Branch

Displays the branch in which this account is maintained.

Balance

Displays the account balance with the sign (Dr/Cr).

As of Date

Displays the status of the account as on this date.

Mobility Preference

Manual SMS

Specify the channel user ID for manual SMS.

Downloadable Client SMS

Specify the channel user ID for downloadable client SMS.

Downloadable Client (GPRS)

Check the box and specify the channel user ID for downloadable client(GPRS).

Browser Based (WAP)

Check the box and specify channel user id for Browser based (WAP).

Browser Based (GPRS)

Check the box and specify the channel user id for Browser based (GPRS).

Register for alerts (enter the value only if you want to register for alerts)

Register For Alerts

Select the option button if you want to register for receiving alerts for various transactions through e-Banking and other channels.

Note:

For following actions in online registration (online/offline modes) alerts will be generated:

  • When Request goes for RM approval

  • When RM approves the Request

  • When RM rejects the Request

  • When RM closes the Request

  • When an Inquiry is made on the Request

  • When Registration is completed

Scheme ID

Select the alert subscription scheme ID  from the drop-down.

Do Not Disturb Time (hh:mm)

Select the start time and end time for not receiving the alerts through the day.

Complete the channel linkage and channel-account access process

Note:

When you click continue the registration process by now will come to an end. User ID that is generated is mentioned in the success message. Go to Login button will be displayed here. Click to proceed further. The typical message will be like ‘online registration is complete. your user id is INDIRA’. Click ‘Go to login page’ you will be taken to e-Banking login page where the you can enter his user id and authentication credentials to log into the e-Banking application.

At the first login with the default password set  by the user as part of activation of registration of internet banking user id, system will validate the user id and password. After successful validations he user is guided to terms and conditions page. It will be similar like a normal first time login. Terms and conditions and change password screen will appear with only difference is; only signon password change will be required. In this case system will not prompt the user to change his transaction password.
