Channel Enabled Accounts

Introduction

In this screen, the bank user can manage account visibility for a consumer customer for a specific channel.  The accounts enabled for particular channels only can be visible for the user who is accessing application through respective channels. The same account can be enabled for multiple channels.

For Example:

If the selected account is not enabled for internet banking, then the account will not be visible at all for the retail user in the e-Banking application for either inquiry or transaction.

Navigation

  • Click Retail Administration > User Maintenance > Retrieve > Channel Enabled Accounts link

  • The Channel Enabled Accounts screen is displayed.

What you can do

The table below provides a brief description of the data that should be entered on the screen and the functions you can perform:

Field

Description

Retail User ID

The ID of the retail user is displayed.

Customer ID

Select the customer ID of the user from the drop-down. The accounts for that customer ID will be displayed in the screen below.

ACCOUNTS LIST

Sl. No.

The record can be selected through the check box.

Bank ID

The bank ID is displayed.

Branch ID

The branch ID of the account is displayed.

Account Indicator

Indicates whether the account is users own, third party or other bank account.

Account Number

All the accounts linked to the user are displayed.

Channels

The bank administrator can enable specific accounts for respective channels that are listed on same screen by checking the check boxes displayed against each channel.  The different channels for which accounts can be enabled are:

  • Internet Baking

  • Manual SMS

  • Downloadable Client SMS

  • Downloadable Client GPRS

  • Browser Based GPRS

  • Browser Based WAP

History

Created By

The name of the user who created the record.

Created On

The date and time on which the record was created.

Modified By

The name of the user who last modified the record.

Modified On

The date and time on which the record was last modified.

To

Page ‘Go’

 If there are multiple number of pages for displaying the list, then the desired page number can be provided and ‘Go’ button needs to be clicked to view the list in that page.

View the next screen page.

Update

For updating the account (s) to the  selected channel(s).

Reset

Displays the default values in all fields which are shown when the page is loaded.

Back

 View the previous screen without making any modifications.
