Details of Retail User

Introduction

This option allows you to  view details of the selected retail user record.

Navigation

The following is the navigation for this option:

  • Click View/Update in the User Maintenance List screen.

  • The Modify User Maintenance  screen is displayed.

What you can do

The table below provides a brief description of the data that can be specified on the screen and the functions you can perform:

Field

Description

Customer Id

The primary CIF ID linked to the retail user.

Retail User

The ID of the retail user. This field cannot be edited.

First Name

The first name of the retail user.

First Name (Alternate Language)

The first name of the retail user in a language other than the language set as the default.

Customer Support Email ID

Specify the e-mail ID of the relationship manager.

Middle Name

The middle name of the retail user.

Middle Name (Alternate Language)

The middle name of the retail user in a language other than the language set as the default.

Last Name

The last name of the retail user.

Last Name (Alternate Language)

The last name of the retail user in a language other than the language set as the default.

Salutation

The salutation used for the retail user. For example, Mr., Dr., Prof., and so on.

Limit Scheme Applicable

 The limit scheme applicable for the retail user. You can modify the limit scheme using the options in the drop-down list.

Category Code

The category code the retail user is classified.

Gender

Indicates if the customer is male or female.

Anniversary Date

The wedding anniversary date of the customer.

Email Id

The email ID of the retail user.

Date Format

The customer's preferred date format. The format specified will be used to print reports or display balances to the customer.

Language Id

The ID of the language to be used for communication with the customer.

RO Group Id

Indicates the Correspondence RO group for the retail user.

Brand Id

The brand ID of the retail user.

Note:

Based on the selected brand ID, the look and feel of the retail user’s screen is decided. This is a non-editable field.

Menu Profile

Indicates the menu profile of the retail user.

User's Interests

Indicates the interests of the user.

Date Of Birth

The customer's date of birth.

Number of Household

The number of persons in the customer's household.

Occupation

Displays the occupation of the customer.

Marital Status

Displays the retail customer’s marital status.

Employment Status

Displays the employment status of the retail customer.

Income Range

The salary range of the retail user.

Educational Level

The educational qualifications of the retail customer.

Don't Disturb Time for Alerts

From - To

Displays the period, in hours, during which alerts should not be sent.

Address

Displays the address of the retail user.

Address (Alternate Language)

Displays the address of the retail user in alternate language.

City

Displays the city details of the retail user.

City (Alternate Language)

Displays the city details of the retail user in alternate language.

State

Displays the state of the retail user, this field displays the states belonging to the corresponding country only.

Country

Displays the country of the retail user.

Zip

Displays the PIN code of the retail user’s address.

Phone No

Displays the phone number of the retail users. (Generally this will be land line number)

Mobile Phone No

Displays the mobile phone number of the retail user.

Fax No

Displays the fax number for the retail users.

Customer Status

Displays the status of the customer. Bank will categorize customers into different status like A class customers, B class customers based on bank needs.

Residential Status

Displays the residential status of the retail customer.

Passport Number

Displays the passport number of the retail user.

Passport Issue Date

Displays the passport issue date of the retail user.

Passport Details

Displays the passport details of the retail user.

Passport Expiry Date

Displays the passport expiry date of the retail user.

Pan / National Id

Displays the Permanent account number of the retail user.

Transaction Limit Scheme

The transaction limit that is the applicable to the user can be selected from the drop-down.  The periodic limit maintained in the selected transaction limit will be applicable to the user for those transactions and the channel through which the transactions are done.

Entry Limit Scheme

The entry limits applicable to the user can be selected from the drop-down.

Authentication Mode

The type of authentication used for activities like login and non financial transactions. Valid values:

  • Password

  • Secure Token

  • Digital Certificate

  • SMS based Mobi Token

  • Device based Mobi Token

Note:

  • For Password mode, the sign-on password entered by the user would be validated for authentication.

  • For Digital certificates, authentication means only validating the digital certificate used by the user. The details in the corresponding screen are not sent for validation as against the authorization of the screen.

  • For SMS based Mobi Token or Device based Mobi Token the passcode entered by the user is validated.

Authorization Mode

The type of authorization required.

Valid values:

  • Password

  • Secure Token

  • Digital Certificate

  • SMS based Mobi Token

  • Device based Mobi Token

Note:

  • For password mode, when authorization happens the user’s transaction password is validated.

  • With digital certificates used and while initiating a transaction, the digital certificate is validated and digital signature is created with the transaction details encrypted and sent along with the actual transaction details. At the application server end, the actual transaction message sent is validated with the encrypted value in the digital signature. To know about the technical details of digital signatures, refer to ebanking technical document on digital signature.

  • For SMS based Mobi Token or Device based Mobi Token the passcode entered by the user is validated when the transactions are initiated.

Authorization Mode Precedence

From the drop-down list, select whether authorization level for the retail user.

Valid values:

User level

Transaction level

Delete Remarks

Specify the remarks if the record is to be deleted.

Created By

Displays the administrator's Id who created the retail user.

Created On

Displays the time when the retail user was created.

Modified By

Displays the administrator's ID who did the modification for this retail user.

Modified On

Displays the latest modified time for the retail user.

 

Click

To

Update

Save the changes in the database and return to the previous screen.

Delete

Delete the selected record.

Reset

Reset the contents of the page.

Back

Return to the previous screen without saving the changes.
